Since I was a kid, running has been engraved in my brain as a form of punishment.
Show up late? Take a lap. Get blown out of a game the night before? Expect practice to be in the form of sprints. Eat a bunch of cookies in the college dining hall? Better hit the treadmill. And the list goes on.
So now I’ve made the actual CHOICE to run everyday for the next 20 weeks? And for 26+ miles? Am I crazy?
