FAQs

  • DuPont Wellness is a “mobile” practice in the Treasure Valley. I bring the PT to your home, office or work site (with employer permission), gym (with permission), or out on the trail or course! No more driving to/from a clinic and battling with traffic, which saves you time! If you prefer a dedicated location, I do offer services at Trailhead Sports Clinic in downtown Boie on Tuesdays and Thursdays, or in patneship with Guardian Physique gym in Meridian.

  • Yes. Most appointments are done in the comfort of your own home! I bring my portable treatment table and limited equipment and set up in an open space like your living room, dining room, garage, back deck, or any space at home that we can set up in.

  • I can come to wherever you may be. I can come see you at your work or office on a break (with the expressed permission of your employer), at the gym you workout at (with permission from the gym’s management), or even outside at the golf course, the track, field, Greenbelt, or foothills trails. This is perfect for allowing me to see how you perform in your own environment(s) and identify issues that are specifically keeping you from working, working out, golfing, running, walking or biking.

By coming to your gym or the golf course, I can work with your trainer(s) and instructor(s) on how to maximize your PT and achieve your goals.

  • I see clients in the Treasure Valley of Idaho from Boise to Caldwell. That includes Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Star, Kuna, Nampa, Caldwell and Middleton.

  • Every visit from the initial assessment to the very last discharge visit are $150 if paying cash. Dr. Corey believes in keeping things simple and predictable.

If using your health insurance, every plan is different and it depends on your plan’s coverage, deductible, coinsurance or copay amount, time spent in each session, and which intervention were performed. It can range from $100 to over $200, or it depends on your copay amount. Dr. Corey will do his best to confirm your benefits before starting PT, but it is your responsibility to understand your PT Benefits specific to your plan.

  • DuPont Wellness accepts certain insurances. Currently we can accept Blue Cross, Medicare, Work Comp (Idaho State Insurance Fund (SIF)), HeathShare Plans, and certain Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Claims. Otherwise DuPont Wellness is out of network, but you may pay cash and submit receipts to be applied to your OON insurance benefits. In many cases, it may be more cost effective to pay cash! See About Page.

  • That depends on your insurance plan and provider’s rules. Most insurances allow you to submit receipts from an Out Of Network (OON) provider for reimbursement or to be applied toward your OON deductible and benefits. It can be as simple as calling your insurance provider (phone number on back of your insurance card) and request a reimbursement form for OON services. You may have an online form through your insurance online account/portal that you can upload the receipts and submit electronically.

DuPont Wellness will provide a receipt/invoice through your PtEverywhere Portal that you can submit to your insurance to apply toward your OON benefits.

  • Yes! DuPont Wellness can now accept traditional Medicare and certain Medicare Advantage Plans. Please call to confirm if DuPont Wellness is In Network with your Medicare Advantage Plan.

  • Yes. Your HSA and FSA are perfectly suited to help you cover the cost of healthcare related services and items that are otherwise not covered by your insurance. I can accept payment using your HSA or FSA card, or you can submit the receipt for the visit(s) to be reimbursed by your HSA.

  • Yes. Most HealthShare-type of programs allow you to see any licensed healthcare provider for services. You typically would pay cash at time of services and submit the receipt for the visit to your HealthShare plan for reimbursement or help covering some or all of the cost. Please confirm with your HealthShare plan about the specific process prior to your first visit with Dr. Corey.

  • Cash, check, credit and debit cards, HSA and FSA cards are all accepted at the completion of the visit.

  • PtEverywhere is the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system that DuPont Wellness Mobile Physical Therapy uses to schedule, coordinate, and document your visits. You will be required to set up an account and online portal through PtEverywhere when requesting your first visit. You can communicate with Dr. Corey through PtEverywhere’s online portal, fill out necessary information, and receive receipts of visits completed.

  • Visits are typically 1 hour (60 minutes) long, so plan accordingly. The initial visit is primarily spent gathering your history and story of your issue/condition and performing tests to get to the root of your issue(s). Dr. Corey will then establish a plan with you on number of expected visits and scheduling, as well as perform any necessary treatments and exercises in the first visit to get you started.

Each follow-up visit is also 1 hour long. This allows adequate time for Dr. Corey to dive deeper with testing if needed, perform interventions as needed, and to teach you how to care for your issues on your own and between visits.

  • Yes! There are a few options that can help reduce the cost of visits.

Group Discount - $50 off for each person in a group of 2 or more people in one place. Each person still gets 1 hour of attention and treatment. So if you have a spouse, child, friend, or co-worker also needing PT, you can save big!

Get the 10th Visit Free - Like a punch card, the 10th visit is free. You may also pre-purchase visits. Every 10th visit will be free.

Return Customer Discount - $50 off initial visit for any returning customer.

Telehealth Consult $50 - 30-minute consultation by Telehealth using the PtEverywhere portal. This is great for anyone tight on a budget but at least want some guidance on their issue and what they can do on their own. This is not a formal examination. It is treated as a consultation with recommendations provided by Dr. Corey.

Dr. Corey may also consider individual cases for special exemptions. Please speak with Dr. Corey directly about your specific situation.

  • Dr. Corey has experience and expertise treating people from ages 12 to 112. The only caveat being that he is unable to treat patients who have Medicare or Medicaid on a cash basis. (See FAQ - Can you see someone who has Medicare?).

For minors, a parent or legal guarding must be present for every visit.

  • Yes. Telehealth follow up visits can be performed through the PtEverywhere EMR and are at a reduced rate of $75. The initial visit must be performed in-person to adequately allow Dr. Corey to perform a thorough examination and rule out serious problems before performing any interventions or Telehealth visits.
